Logging in to Opus

Most institutions use single sign-on (SSO), so you log in to Opus with the same account you use for everything else at work.

If your institution uses SSO: choose the SSO option on the login page and follow your usual sign-in process, including multi-factor authentication. Opus works with Microsoft Entra ID and other SAML providers.

If you have a local Opus login: enter the email address and password you received during setup. Use the password reset link on the login page if you've forgotten your password.

Can't log in?

  • Check you're using your work account, not a personal one.
  • Try a private browser window, which rules out saved passwords and old sessions.
  • If a colleague can log in and you can't, ask your institution's Opus administrator to check your account and role.
